- Coolangatta Whale Watch departs the private jetty behind the Coolangatta & Tweed Heads Golf Club, Alf Rush Memorial Drive, Tweed Heads South. Transfers are available all over the Gold Coast and into Kingscliff - a fee applies - $5 to $20 per head (includes return) depending on where you are.

Tour Description
Watching whales off the Gold Coast around Coolangatta is fantastic, the only whale watching boat in the area so no other boats to interrupt your magnificant view of the whales and the fantastic coastline from Kingscliff to Surfers Paradise - simply stunning. Gold Coast Whale Watching Cruises run by Coolangatta Whale Watch operates Whale Watching off Coolangatta June to early November, 7 days a week. 2.5 to 3hr cruise, includes morning tea, educational commentary. 100% guaranteed whale sightings (100% success since 2006).
Whale Watcher - the boat - is a stable 50' catamaran with full walkaround lower deck, undercover rear deck, upper deck, inside cabin with toilet and lounge area. Window all around cabin. Only 46 passengers - no crowds - plenty of room to move about and take some great shots of the whales.
Whale Watcher is run and owned by Tony and Carol Hunt so you are onboard with a couple of very passionate people, your guaranteed some knowledgeable information via the commentary and some pretty special attention throughout your trip.
